*Strictly Come Dancing 2009 ~ Inc. SPOILERS!!*

I can't believe that It Takes Two was cut down due to the blooming footie World Cup news (boring !!!!). Can't wait for tomorrow night, and it was lovely to see John Barrowman on there tonight too :lovestruc

... And for a lot of the last 10 minutes of the football they seemed to be waffling while they thought of something to say!!!!

Didn't see much of Strictly as DS rang just as it started - I'll have to catch up later, but it seems to take longer than other programmes to become available on i-player.

What a great show ~ again :thumbsup2

I was so pleased to see Chris & Ola not having to do the dance off, although it was obvious that Lailla and Anton would leave if they were in it

I thought it was really bad of the judges to make such negative comments just before Lailla and Anton did their 2nd dance

I didn't think Darcy added anything to the show last night

And finally, I loved Vincent & Flavia's Argentine Tango, I can't wait to see the celebs doing it next week

I love Ballet, but did not enjoy Darcey last night. She was cold and .... well noit got the ight word, just annoying!!!

So pleased with the top three. I would be happy to see any of them win, but obviously would like to see Ricky on our screens for as long as possible! :lovestruc

HI

I really enjoyed last nights show!

IM happy with top 3 but would like to see either Chris or Ali win - Not sure why but I cant warm to Ricky and Natalie - I love watching them dance but they seem a bit arogant (sp?) stand offish.

DH on the otherhand likes watching Natalie :rolleyes1

I loved Vincent and Flavia's A tango -

Also enjoyed the pros cha cha cha and American smooth - did any one else notice Matthew Cutler not getting a lift quite right:rolleyes1

Finally I couldn't beleive I actually felt sorry for Anton

Roll on next week

I know that it's a dance competition, so Ali or Ricky should win it, but a part of me wants to see them both in the dance off next week, with whoever gets saved to go on and win it. It would be great fun to see Team COla in the final :thumbsup2

I must admit to loving Anton and was pleased he got as far as he did, but he must of known that their time was about up!

Yes, I also noticed Matthew's lift! ;)

Thats such a good idea:thumbsup2

I liked Darcy's matter of fact and technical comments. It's right that their technique should be scrutinised this late in the competition.

I was really worried that Chris might be against Ricky in the dance off as Laila has got away with weak performances for a while now.

I'd really like Chris to win as I find both Ricky and Ali are irritating beyond words with Ricky's arrogrance and Ali's doe eyed "little me" act.

Sadly I'm away on the 19th so won't be able to vote.

Was it intended to be a 3 couple final? I just wondered as Jade had to retire injured.

Just caught up on Saturday night shows and I have to agree ::yes::

Wasn't Anton hilarious though :lmao::lmao: I'll miss him

I was just beginning to warm to Anton.

Looks like we're getting a Christmas Special on Christmas Day.

Ooh, no dance off on Saturday ~ should be interesting :thumbsup2

The forums seem confused. They cannot figure out whether there will be an elimination (of just the couple with the lowest combined judges/public vote) or if they're all through to the final week

Must be an elimination or the BBC won't make any money on the phone vote.

Oh, I'd love to have been Miranda Hart last Saturday.

I caught up :) And I'm soooo pleased to see Chris and Ola through to the semi finals :thumbsup2 I adore those two, they're so cute together! Maybe us little people all stick together? :lmao:

Did anyone else think Alisha was totally unhappy about Darcy being there on the panel? Her face was like sour grapes all through the show! As others have said, Darcy wasn't anything special with regards to judging. She's just the female version of Craig!

Looking forward to the semi's this weekend and I'm NOT going out. I refuse to this weekend, I need some good old Saturday evening entertainment from my TV instead :yay:

I totally agree. I thought Alesha seemed very unhappy about something and afterwards they were all a bit too pally-pally, almost like it was all a show. I'm not really loveing Darcy as a judge, I don't think she added anything into the mix and, to be honest, I don't really know what Strictly producers are playing at - first Alesha, now Darcy. I suppose the only thing is that Darcy IS actually a dancer so at least knows a little of what she's talking about

I'm really hoping the public get back behind Ricky this week as I wouldn't like to see him go over Ali and Brian.

Team COla for me now.

Hope Ricky goes next, then Ali obviously.

I didn't rate Darcy as a judge and to be honest I think the producers should have thought twice about introducing her as Alesha had just got in her groove after a poor start, the panel is off kilter again IMHO. I think it's been a poor season TBH, the changing of judges, programming slots and rules seems to have lost viewers. I also think the standard hasn't been fantastic, IMO Ricky and Chris aren't even in the same league as Austin and Tom as the quarter final stage last year

I'm not sure what's planned for the Christmas special but I know for a fact Daren and Lillia haven't been picked to dance even though they've had some great solo dances this season.

The producers need to bring the sparkle back to Strictly ::yes::
