Stretching machine??

Well Wonderland was pretty good on Friday.... got there bright and early and managed to fit in alot of rides before the crowds hit.... little ds even met Dora and boots and shook their hands without freaking out.... I think he's ready for Mickey now. Older ds and I rode every roller coaster too (except the backwards one!!lol)

BUT.... we need to stretch little ds 1 more inch so he passes the 44 inch mark before October.... wonder if watering him would help?!?!

One tip I've seen posted is to put lifts into his shoes. The rid attendants don't look that closely and it will get him above that magic barrier.

Of course, we don't have that problem anymore since both kids now tower above DW.

We were there on Friday too!! It was excellent weather dontcha think? I know what you mean about the stretching, our ds is a green level and his sister is a purple and it really frusterates him to be smaller and younger. He would ride all the rides if they let him!!!(no fear-crazy little turkey)I keep telling him he will be taller than her one day but he is not buying it.Last year in the fall we spiked his hair with gell to add that extra half inch to make him green as he wasn't quite there yet then. I know they have these levels for safety but he was really close.

We were so excited this year that ds is now green (we have a purple dd too!). There are actually quite a few more rides that he can do now. The "spinning buckets" as he calls them, over near the Dragonfyre are his new absolute favourite

Look for some thick-soled running shoes!

Weather was great Friday.... we hadn't been there for about 14 yrs or so... amazing how much it's changed but it sure was fun taking my 10yods on all my fav rollercoasters!!lol I'm shocked he did as well as he did b/c he's not a risk taker...... doesn't like the unknown!!

it was kind of a pre-test for Disney too.... had to make sure my 4.5yo ds knew what he was getting into with the walking characters... he's always been terrified of them. We did tell him ahead of time that if he couldn't handle that then there was no point scaring him so much with Disney...... he really really must want to go!!lol

so thick soled shoes and hair gel it is!! he's about 1 inch below the green level!
