We will be staying for 6 days/5 nights in September, family of 3. I have dinner ressies for CRT one night which will take 2TS credits each, totaling 6TS credits. How can I utilize the rest of our credits so that we won't have to pay out of pocket?

Currently, I have Olivia's Cafe (saturday), Ohana (sunday), Hollywood Vine N Dine (monday), Chef Mickey's (tuesday), and Cinderella's Royal Table (wednesday). I thought we could just pay oop for the other four nights for DD since the child's menu would cost less in order for us to have a TS for each day. But, if there is a way to do it without paying oop, let me know!

Are you talking about paying out of pocket for the child so you can use their credit for an adult TS meal later? If so, you can't do that anymore.

dannyh is right. Child credits CANNOT be used for adult meals, period. If you pay out of pocket for your child for four meals, you will end up with four unused and unusable child Table Service credits left over, aka wasted.

There is not a way to do it without paying out of pocket. Just pick what you expect to be your least expensive meal, and pay for that one. You can’t even share. Four of the locations you selected are preplated or family-style or all-you-care-to-eat. The fifth restaurant, Olivia’s, has had reports of management adhering VERY strictly to the rule of the Dining Plan as written.

Oh darn it  Okay, I guess I will have to rethink this again.

The best way to stretch your credits is to substitute a "heavy" CS meal for one of your TS meals. You may want to drop Olivia's.

Pepper Market(CSR), the food court at the Land (EPCOT) or Cosmic Ray's (MK) are probably the best options.

You were never allowed to use child credits to purchase adult meals. The "honor system" wasn't working and the system now separates child and adult TS credits.
