Can anyone tell me the name of Limo companies in Orlando with reasonable rates. I looked for stretch limo rates from MCO to Port Canaveral and am getting rates of $150 one way and $300 R/T.

That is way too expensive, even NY prices are way less. Anyone use companies with more reasonable prices. I checked Happy Limo and FL. Tours. I can't believe Florida can be more expensive than NY.

TIA

Call Golden limo--they have the most competitive prices, and get consistently high praise from those who have used them.

This is their web site.

Hi Joanna :wave2:

Unfortunately that's the going rate. We use Tiffany Towncar and they also charge $150 each way, MCO to Port Canaveral. Our trip this summer will be a 3-leg trip; MCO to PC, then PC to the Polynesian, then the Polynesian back to MCO and it's going to cost us $462 (including tip) for the limo. I hate paying all that money, but that's the way DH wants to travel. He only gets to go on one vacation each year and he hates the idea of driving himself, and with 2 big teenaged sons, we just wouldn't be comfortable in a towncar (not to mention all the luggage we'll have with us). They do also have large passenger vans which are a lot less money and they're really nice and give you a lot of room, so that's another option you can consider. The vans are $170 ROUND TRIP (plus tip), so that's not too bad.

Out of curiosity I called them and their rate is $250 for round trip, not including tip, so they are $50 less than the other limo companies. The man that answered the phone seemed very nice.

Maybe I will check them out. I am renting a car to the port as I like to stop and go to the stores on the way there.

But on the way back DD8 wants to go in a stretch limo, has been wanting to go in one for a while now, so I may just surprise her from the port to mco.

For people seeking the cheapest limousine rates, simply look for companies with the oldest and beat up limousines. Ask for rust, torn seats, bad smell, and a driver (not a professional chauffeur) to show up in a t-shirt and jeans. Then you will probably get a cheap price.

Obviously I'm just trying to get the point across with humor, however I'm not to far off. I've seen those types meeting customers at the airport, it's very sad.

It's the old saying, you get what you pay for...

I just wonder why they are so much more expensive than LI, where the insurance is more expensive and so are salaries. For the same distance as the port a R/T limo would be $200 here. No T-shirts or Jeans either. Is there no competition there. Does not EVERYONE use limos for weddings and funerals there. If they don't maybe then that is the price difference, not enough business.

This is the driver and car you'd get with Golden Limo. Nice clean car, professional driver (he did have a jacket with him, but it was very warm on that August day) and he was very freindly and service oriented!

I just used him again this past February, and again the driver and car were wonderful!

We just returned on May 3rd. Golden Limos was great! I can't say enough about Jim. Our limo ride to and from WDW was definately the icing on our cake! Jim was wearing a suit, the limo was new, and the interior was sparkling clean. Our children adored Jim, they watched Brother Bear during the ride and didn't want to get out at the resort! We will definately being using Golden Limos again!
