I have been looking forward to my vacation for months now. I am going in April with my Mom and DD for a week. I spent time researching. We are staying at the POP and I made all my reservations. We leave in 2.5 weeks and my DH tells me he has to go to Orlando for a class and will meet up with us. GREAT!!! Love it. Now we both get to thinking. My DH has 2 boys and we had decided when I planned originally that we wouldn't take them out of school. Now my DH is determined that they go. So I am now, today trying to set everything up. :headache: They have to stay off site b/c we are going through Easter and you know how busy that time is aand that is fine. When I explained that Ihad made ressies in advance cuz I am on the dining plan my husband responded with "You have the ressies but you don't need to go". My DD is 3 and looking forward to meeting Cinderella and the other characters. My stepsons are 11 and 12 and not interested in princesses. How bad of a stepmom am I if I keep some of the ressies? I can't increase the number of people. I already tried and there are no more available. I was able to include them in on two meals during the week. I really want the boys to go. I am sooo glad that my DH finally agreed with me but did he have to wait til the last minute? Am I being selfish? Any opinion is helpful.

11 and 12 year old boys are not going to want to go to a meal with Princesses. I'm sure there are things they will be doing that your 3 year old daughter won't want to do or be able to do. Traveling with such age differences you will have to schedule time for each age group to do something different. My girls are 12 1/2 years apart, I won't even try to take them on the same trip. Try to schedule as much time together as a family as possible but don't feel guilty about everybody having to seperate at times!

Hi and let me start by saying I'm glad your DH and DSDS can join you but no your not being selfish you need to keep some of your adrs your dd will love the princess and tell DH to have fun with the boys wail your at them and you will meet them after and do something as a family later or if you have two adrs with princess have dd take her to one and you can have some bonding time with the boys

Your Mom may also be a little disapointed that the "girls trip" with her daughter and grandaughter now include SIL and his sons. I would keep your reservation at POP and still try to do some things just with your Mom and daughter, since that was the original focus of the trip. This will give DH a chance to spend some alone time with just his sons which is important also. Good luck.
