It's our first trip to dlp on 2nd June staying at the sequoia for 4 nights (anyone there the same dates!?)

Just feel unorganised - is there a checklist of things I need to remember to take!?
The only thing I can think is my daughters princess dresses - haha talk about priorities!
Does anyone know where to find some mickey themed stuff for my son who's 6?
I'm going to order some personalised autograph books off eBay so that's sorted but what about the big pens for the characters to sign with?

Does anyone have any tips / recommendations of things not to miss while we're there? Won't be able to afford to go back for a while and don't want to come home and think damn I'd wish we'd done this and that...

When can we make restaurant reservations and how!?
Not even sure when to eat other than wanting to book auberge for a girly meal. Any tips on what times best / where to sit there etc?

I was wanting to book buffalo bills show but think due to cost I'll give it a miss as I'm sure our money could be best spent elsewhere?

Any help appreciated! x

Hope you have a lovely trip! You're there for plenty of time so should be able to fit lots in. You can book restaurants now, have a look at dlrp magic for menu's and rough prices to give you an idea. Best advice is to get up early and do extra magic hours and enjoy the morning in the parks. Then have a rest/swim in the afternoon and go back out for the parade or for something to eat and Dreams show. Enjoy!:surfweb:

Congratulations on your trip :)

Don't be too stressed out - as soon as you get there, you'll relax into a lovely Disney Bubble.

You won't see absolutely everything on a first trip, so don't try to. Otherwise you'll end up running all over the place and not enjoying yourself.

4 nights is loads of time at DLP. Everything is very close together. If your lo's are young, then you'll enjoy Fantasyland - make good use of EMH between 8 - 10 am when you'll get access to the park as a hotel guest, before the crowds start. You'll get some of the best rides in Fantasyland and Discoveryland done several times over :thumbsup2

You can book your meals by phoning the Disney reservation number 33 (0) 1 60 30 40 50 - don't worry if you don't speak French, there is an English speaking option ;)

Take some time before you go to read some trip reports. That gives a really good idea of how everyone spends their day.

I hope you have a wonderful time :goodvibes

Thank for your reply :) I will have a look through all the restaurant menus - are there any that need to be booked in advance or we wouldn't get a reservation when we get there? Def want to do auberge and maybe cafe mickey.

Is there 1 parade per day or several?

Thanks for your reply :) I will have a look through some trip reports. I don't want to have absolutely everything planned as want to be able to enjoy it as much as possible without always having strict plans x

I would book your restaurants when you can (60 days before hand) as you probably would not get the choice of times you might want if you wait until you get there. We will be booking reservations for all our trips as soon as we can!

Yes there is one parade a day. One in the Disneyland Park and one in the Studios. Plus the Dreams show at park closing.

I hope you have a wonderful trip.

The Disneylsnd Parc has her parade at 7:15pm when you are there, so plan your evening meal to give you time to finish :-)
Definitely book for Auberge as this is very busy with late park opening.

Thanks for your help - just need to decide whether to book our evening meal for before or after the parade. If before what sort it time do you suggest?

We are a family of 4 with 2 small children (6 and 3) but don't want to eat too early really as want some relaxing time in the afternoon back at hotel etc. and want to stay up to watch dreams.
If booking for after the parade what sort of time should we look to book? Not sure what time the parade finishes?

Thanks for the tip re auberge, do I pay in advance on booking or when we are at the restaurant?

I'm happy to make dinner reservations now but have no idea how people decide what time they want to eat!
