Stressed about town car..

So, the company we usually use does not rent a town car with a rear facing carseat and we really do not want to lug our own carseat with us since our little girl will be a lap baby on the flight. Can anyone suggest a company that will rent town cars with rear facing carseats? There are four of us.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :goodvibes

Let me ask you a question..how are you getting around the parks? Are you going to be using Disney transportation? If so, your dd will be held on your lap or in your arms then.
Many towncar services will provide you with the correct car seat. You just have to either call them or go to their website.
I believe that FL Tours, a board sponsor (look for the banner at the top of this board) has car seats.

Yes, we will be using Disney transportation to all the parks. We are staying at WL, so we are happy we can try out the boat to the MK as well as the buses to the other parks.

I have taken a look at a few websites (I have not checked FL Tours yet, though) and a few places want to use vans to use a car sear rather than a town car. While that's all well and good, unfortunately the price does go up because of this. I will check out FL Tours and see what they can offer. Thank you for your time.

Here's hoping you can find what you need. I 'think' the issue is that Florida doesn't have the same car seat laws a lot of other states have. One would think that they would want to make their customers happy and comfortable...I mean, if you are used to putting your child in a car seat at home, one would think that you would want that same thing in other states.

Respectfully (i.e. not to be taken as a criticism under ANY condition), if you need to spend a few extra dollars to get the car seat you need, isn't your daughter's safety worth the money?

Don't look at it as the transportation itself being more expensive; consider the additional cost as the convenience fee for getting exactly what you want without having to haul your own car seat.

Or, just use Magical Express. Thousands of infants and small children have used this free transportation safely, without car seats or restraint (well, except maybe the "mom-arm") over the last five and a half years.

Personally I would bring your car seat. You already know how to use it. The start of your vacation is not the time to be figuring out how to use a different car seat correctly.
