Strengthening Family Bonds

We just got back from our 1st annual Family trip (Grandma, grandpa, brother in law and his family, sister in law and her fiance)...it was great, of course...however, the greatest part of the trip was the effect it had on our entire family...After the trip, our family has really kept in close contact with each other, emails, phone calls, spontaneous house visits, etc....we NEVER visited, contacted, one another prior to this...

just thought i would share this because beyond the amusement and entertainment of Disneyland, the most important aspect, in my opinion, is the family part of it all..The importance of FAMILY TIME and sharing great times with those that you love.

I completely agree with you! For Christmas this past year, my family gave AP's to my parents, and they gave AP's to us. It has been a great year so far. Spending time at DL together has been a MUCH better gift than anything we could have purchased in a store.

I agree!
Last year we took our sons (3 and 5) for their first DL trip.
My SIL, BIL and niece(19) came along and everyone got along so nicely.
I call them the "Bickersons" but no bickering at all.
AT the end of the trip our niece said thanks and that DL is truly magical.
She went once as a child with Gramma and Grampa becuz her Mom is a loser.
So she experienced DL the way it should be with ME!
BTW..they don't tease me about being a Disney Geek anymore, they also look forward to my weekly trip countdown emails to our next trip.
