A firestick is a prohibited item. You can’t plug anything like this into the tvI just use my Firestick. If you can connect to WiFi, you can stream whatever you want, assuming the signal strength will support it. I always bring it with me to WDW, but have not been on a cruise to confirm it will work there.

Disney Cruise LineProhibited by whom?
If you are a Disney+ subscriber, is there anyway to stream Disney+ in your stateroom on Disney cruises especially after turning in for the night?
Decent is relative, decent for a short cruise but if you like longer cruises it feels very limited. I think my recent HAL cruise had more Disney on demand in their kids section than dcl overall…I usually just download what I know the kids want to the tablets before we board, but I seem to remember there was a decent on demand collection? I remember coming back to my husband watching Marvel movies.
This is what our family does as well before we travel. We make sure to download any tv shows or movies we want from whatever streaming services we have to our devices and that way we have something for those down timesI usually just download what I know the kids want to the tablets before we board, but I seem to remember there was a decent on demand collection? Meanwhile, on the 10 night NCL cruise I just took, the only free options were one tv channel for movies and one tv channel for shows. They only started on the hour/half hour regardless of when the show/movie ended, and they looped every 3ish days.Decent is relative, decent for a short cruise but if you like longer cruises it feels very limited. You'd have to pay for the Wi-Fi, and it's an extortionate amount of money, IMO. I download a lot of content to my iPad —Disney+ content included. I hardly ever end up watching much on the ship, but it's there if I want it. It might be nice to be able to log into your Disney+ account onboard ship, but we don't usually stay up for too long after we're in bed. The rocking of the ship and the comfortable bed aren't conducive for focus for us. DH tries to read or watch something on his iPad when in bed but has hit himself in the face too many times with it for me to be convinced that we need to spend much time watching TV on ship.I always bring it with me to WDW, but have not been on a cruise to confirm it will work there.
