Streamer thing? On the Fantasy?

So I was on instagram today like I do a lot and looking at the sail away parties on the Fantasy. I cruise in September on the Fantasy and have only done 2 wonder cruises prior. Well in the pictures I saw on the fantasy no one had the gold streamer things. Do they not pass them out on the Fantasy?

I really enjoyed waiving them in the air with my kids. Picture of what I am talking about below:

I seem to recall my teenagers getting those during our last Fantasy sail away party. I believe they were red though.

we have not seen them on board in over a year. there used to be three colors (red, blue, gold) that they handed out for free, however none of our sailings since October 2014, all fantasy, have had them. I just assumed they stopped on all ships but that could be wrong. sailing again soon so will check again.

We still have ours from our Dream cruise in 2013. My little one just asked if we would get them on our Fantasy cruise next month. I assumed yes but see now that I may be wrong. Oh well plenty of other things to worry about. Guess we will find out soon
It's so busy and full of excitement the first day I'm sure none of my kids will even notice they are missing.

We got one in 2008 on the Wonder, but didn't on the Dream in 2012 or Fantasy in 2014.

I would have thought someone would say something like they stopped them at some point because of all the trash it creates.

Just like balloon launches are no longer in favor do to the issue that you are pretty much littering and they threaten wildlife.

What do you mean by this? How does it cause litter? I took mine back to the cabin and ultimately back home. I still have them. Again, they had them on the Wonder this past Feb. It was such a fun extra that my family enjoyed.

Also I hang around here since I hope to go on a cruise with my wife someday. All my cruising knowledge I got from Capt. Stubbing and Gopher.

We got them on the Fantasy this past March. Red and Blue ones if I remember correctly. There was a CM handing them out to people on Decks 11 and 12.

They did not have them at our June 13 Fantasy sailing---at least not where we were on Deck 12. I don't remember seeing them anywhere.

It's so strange how it's hit or miss.

I think it may be more a thing of being in the right place at the right time. We got them on the Dream a year ago, and I've seen them on several DCL cruises. I have not yet sailed the Fantasy.
