Verizon streams
pretty much what Direct TV Sunday Ticket doesn't cover. The local market, Sunday night and Monday Night Football games. Then they also have a Redzone package which brings highlights.
Since the OP is talking about "Missing Sunday Ticket," I'm going to assume that they follow what is for them an out of market team. In other words, they want to watch a team which is not going to be on their local CBS broadcast.
This year there aren't many good options. Last year there was the Madden Football code for free Sunday ticket. Next year, if the ATT purchase of Direct TV goes through there might be some package deals to make Sunday Ticket available for people other than Direct TV subscribers.
You say you just dropped Sunday Ticket. Did you keep Direct TV and are you under contract? It might be worth a call to the Direct TV retention department to see if they can offer you a please remain our customer deal which includes Free Sunday ticket. My son was able to get free Sunday Ticket this year by calling them and asking. We were also able to get a good deal one year by canceling our Direct TV subscription under my husband's name, waiting a couple of weeks, and then signing up for a new account under my name.
Otherwise, there are some avenues for college students and/or apartment dwellers who can't get Direct TV to get an "online streaming only" package if you happen to know somebody who would qualify and let you sign up under their name. It's expensive though and if you already have direct tv there isn't much advantage to going that way rather than just adding Sunday Ticket to your subscription.
You can read about that here.
