Strawberry Swirl is gone

Just got back from a week at WDW, and suffered a crushing disappointment. They have taken Strawberry Swirl off the menu at Enchanted Grove.

Words can't express........ :-(

I don't think I've ever heard of the Stawberry Swirl. And sadly, now I will never get to try it! What is (was) it? Maybe there is another on-site location that has it...sometimes things pop up in other locales. Don't give up until you've asked it on the dining boards.

Say it isn't so, that was my favorite treat in all of WDW, I have one every trip. It seems they are getting rid of all the good food and treats at WDW.
I am not a big fan of the Dole wip, the strawberry swirl was the first thing I always got when I get to MK

You gotta be kidding - that's my absolutely favorite Disney treat. Getting my Strawberry Swirl and eatinig it while watching Sunny Eclipse is a MK trip tradition. Say it ain't so! Say it ain't so!!

From what I could tell - it was not replaced just removed. I think they put in an extra frozen lemonade machine in its place.

My words EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!! Who's great idea was this? I Love going to the Enchanted Cottage and sitting on the little chairs and eating these. Is there a tantrum icon I can use to express outrage? (sorta LOL).

This is horrible! I LOVED the Strawberry Swirl...it was my favorite ice cream treat at any of the parks. I had one every trip. I have never been a Dole Whip or Mickey Bar fan.

I remember that it previously was served in these little clear plastic parfait type cups, that just made it seem a little more special than a standard ice cream. Last time I was there and had it, it was served in a styrofoam cup as depicted in lexmelinda's photo. Also, in the past, the strawberry portion was considerably darker than it had been in recent years (more dark red than the frothy pinkish hue) anyone else notice this difference?

I just told my daughter about the demise of the Strawberry Swirl.

Me: I have some bad news.
Her: What is it?
Me: The Strawberry Swirl is gone from the Enchanted Grove.
Her: NOOOOOOOOO! Why are they doing that?
Me: Sorry, honey. Disney seems to change everything eventually....no matter how good it is.
Her: No they don't. It's a Small World is still there.
