Strawberry Creme Cake at Kringla?

On our last trip we finally made it to Kringla so I could try out the Schoolbread. Yummm-o. DH, however, ordered the Strawberry Creme Cake. Talk about a beautiful cake! Had to be the best we've tried on property, if not one of the top 3 of strawberry-cream style desserts we've had.

But I never see anything on it on the DIS -- no pics, no mentions, nada. We'd really like to stop by on our next trip for another round, but I can't even tell if it's normally on the menu.

Has anyone seen it lately? Even better, anyone catch some pics?

(Though maybe I shouldn't even mention it...you know when word gets out and a food item gets popular, that's when Disney decides to go mess with it! )

O.K. I'm intrigued. I have never heard of this before (sorry you started it ). I too would love to see pictures of this. Is it like a Strawberry Shortcake cake? I definitely will be on the hunt for this when we are there in September .

Mmmm, now I'm going to get hungry describing it...and hope I'm remembering it right! It was a layered cake -- vanilla cake, with layers of whipped cream and strawberries (not fake-o strawberry gel either, the real berries ). Delish!

This sounds very yummy! Does anyone know if they still have it on the menu? DD just LOVES strawberries and I would love to be able to surprise her when we go in August. Anyone know if it could be a snack item on the DDP?
