My dd 17 and I are heading to WWOHP on March 17-18. We have 2 day/2 park passes. We are staying offsite and are planning to get to the parks before opening.

1. What time should we plan to arrive?
2. I presume it's best for us to head straight to FJ? I think I read on another post that maybe we should do the single rider line and then take a tour of the castle? Can someone fill me in on what this tour is like vs. waiting in the que line?
3. Any strategy beyond heading to FJ first? We might try to see the wand show on our 2nd day, but for the 1st day we want to go straight to FJ unless you guys recommend otherwise.
4. After we finish seeing everything in WWOHP, we will then hit the rest of the park. Is there a typical "order" to see everything else?
5. On our 2nd day we will also plan to get to park before opening and get to FJ first thing. We'll then head over to US for the remaining time.

Thanks for your expertise!

Karen

You may be let in around 8:45. You want to be amongst the first in the regular line, so get there around 8. It will take you a bit to walk to the park.

I would head straight to FJ (without any bags!!!!!!!) and ask for the single rider line. You can ask for the castle tour later when the line is longer. You won't miss anything. The sorting hat is all you miss on the tour and you will see that in the single rider line.

After that, tour Hogsmeade and do everything in there that you want because you probably won't be able to get in easily again. I would do Flight of the Hippogriff and Dragon Challenge. When you are done looking at everything, then decide whether or not you want to do Ollivander's.

After you leave Wizarding World, just work your way around the park. You might want to hit Spiderman and Hulk next and then do the rest of the rides.

We had thought of exactly the same strategy as you did gasman61. One thing I don't understand is the "single rider line" on FJ. If there's 4 of us will be all ride together or not?

Well I'm not sure how single rider works on FJ, but on MIB, for instance, there is a line for people who do not mind if they are not on the ride next to each other. Single rider lines are always quite a bit shorter than the regular lines! My understanding of FJ is that everyone has their own experience and it doesn't matter who is next to you, but I don't know that for sure. For single riders, you can wait in line with the members of your party, but you might not be on the ride at the same time. This works for older kids but maybe not so much for younger ones.

You will be split up. Not a big deal though since you can't really see your ride-mates anyway.

Sometimes you might get to ride in the same car but that's not to be expected. It just depends on how many singles are needed.
