Due to borrowing restrictions, I am going to be 1 point short for a planned May 2022 trip to Disneyland when the home booking period opens next week. I was going to book 3 of the 4 nights for the 2BR, but can anyone offer advice as to which night I should leave to chance and try to book at the 7 month mark when I can use other points to complete the request? I was going to leave the last night open, which would be a Thursday in the M-Th trip. Any recommendations?

Maybe somebody real swell would transfer in 1 point for you from their VGC contract

That would be terrifically swell! I actually have 5 VGC points that will expire at the end of July that I could transfer to someone that could use them.

You can't transfer banked points.

I agree with leaving Thursday for the 7 month window.

I thought someone might call me out on that. :)

I remembered just after I hit reply that banked points are restricted. and until this year, never had to deal with them. We are always borrowing points for that reason, and inherited the 5 banked points with a recent VGC contract purchase.

Thanks for the responses - I will roll the dice with the Thursday night stay.
