I am planning a first week of February trip for myself and DH- a trip with just us so I can catch all of the things I've missed during our family trips over the years :-). I haven't seen Fantasmic since 2014 despite being there in 2018, 2022 and 2025! (My crew prefers to leave parks as nighttime shows kick-off to avoid crowds.) We will be at HS on the Thursday night (I think) and will be staying at Pop Century. I would think that a Thursday that early in February will only have one show.... and I expect the skyliner wait to be extremely long after the show. Yes? How long before the line is manageable? Are the shops between Fantasmic and the exit open? Any QS? I would appreciate any insight and advice!

We stay at Pop and have experienced your situation often. Honestly, we don't find the Skyliner line at DHS after Fantasmic to be too bad at all. Yes, it will line up but it moves quickly and the ride home is a fairly smooth one. You will find a second line at the CBR hub but again, it's not bad at all. The line is basically manageable all night long. Yes the shops are open. I don't believe QS locations are but I could be wrong about that so someone will correct me.

I would not recommend making any specific alterations to leaving the park after Fantasmic to take the Skyliner back to Pop.

Our experience from Epcot at park close is that the Skyliner line does get much longer and slower at park close so you will want to either leave a bit early or just be prepared for a longer flight home.

We will still choose the Skyliner every single time over a bus if there was an option (which there is not.) The Skyliner is a game changer in the very best way!

Shops are almost always open for a while after the show, as guests are leaving the park. Skyliner line may be long, that's true, but it will move pretty quickly. Be prepared to share a gondola as they normally will fill every one to capacity when the lines are long, versus getting your 'own' gondola during the day when it's far less busy.

This is exactly what I needed to know- last trip we had a late dinner at Le Cellier and ended up in the post fireworks Epcot Skyline line (oops!). It took SO LONG. That is what made me think that I needed to have a plan for Fantasmic.

This line is much more efficient because it doesn’t have to slow down for every handicap transfer at RIV like the EP line does.
