Any suggestions for preparing a four and seven year old for 6 days at Disney? How do you build endurance and prepare for the intense attractions like the 3d movies and some of the rides (Snow White, etc.)?

We definitely have breaks mixed in the itinerary.

I feel like taking long walks in the hot sun or going to another theme park or fair months before might be good practice.

I guess I want to know how to get the most bang for your buck? I have seen many miserable kids in the past. Btw, this is for my sister's kids.

To get them ready to handle the long days on their feet, they should take semi-long walks before they go. They should definitely have 2 pairs of good shoes broken in. 30-45 minute walks in the evening are great, but a few long days at the zoo or something similar would probably also be good.

They will still need a stroller, maybe a double, at WDW. If they're staying on-site, I would rent a stroller when they need it at the parks. That way they don't have to drag it around when they don't need it. If they're staying off-site, they may want to take a stroller so that they can use it for the long treks through the parking lot.

If they haven't ever been on rides before, a trip to a theme park may be a good idea if your sis is willing to do it. 4 and 7 isn't very young, so they'll probably be okay on most of the rides without restrictions as long as they don't scare too easy. But it would be good for them to get used to the idea that they may be surprised or even go down small hills and that it will be okay. The best thing going to a theme park will achieve is to show their parents how much they can handle. If it becomes obvious that they can't go on some of the rides, it's a good idea to avoid those rides at WDW rather than coaxing them on. That will only make things worse.
