Strategy for EMH's

We will only be staying in WDW for 3 days and I'm new to the EMH concept. The Unofficial Guide and many posters seem to believe EMH should be avoided. Assuming we do avoid EMH, here are some questions:

If MK is having morning EMH, which park/parks would you go to on that day instead? Or, in your experience with MK EMH, did they open the other attractions before the park opened? All the rides we want to do won't be open during EMH except for Space Mtn. I can't believe that the most popular rides aren't included in EMH!

If Epcot is having evening EMH, is it a good strategy to arrive at that park in the morning at opening time? Or should the park be avoided altogether? Or, is it a better strategy to do Epcot on a different day?

It will tell you which parks are the best to go to on certain days. Also if you look around on the site, you can find more information about EMH. You'll be able to find specific info for your trip in August. hope this helps!!

Oh I forgot to tell you - the people at touring plans take into account EMH & which parks you can go to instead of the one with EMH.
