We will be staying at the Cabana Bay for 3 nights next week. We will be using the early entry on all mornings. Are both parks open? Are all attractions open? What is the best strategy for the HogwartsExpress? What other attractions should we target? I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.

The Early Entry is only for the Wizarding World, not the other areas of the theme parks. This is a huge advantage, cause these areas and their attractions get super busy! The Hogwarts Express (at least when I was there last year) didn't open until after the parks had opened to the public. So do what you can, for example, in Diagon Alley in the morning and then be in line just as they are opening the queue for the Hogwarts Express - that was the strategy we used last year, and we were able to go back and forth on the Hogwarts Express multiple times with minimal wait times on the two days we were at Universal.

Only things open in the parks are
IOA- Hogsmeade: Forbidden Journey, Ollivanders, Flight of the Hippogriff and Dragon challenge .Stores in area also open.Occasionally in busier times one ride is Seussland is open .But that is not all the time
Studios- Diagon Alley: Gringotts , Ollivanders and stores and Despicable me ( not in Diagon Alley). The Hogwarts express does not run till official park hours. Nothing else is open
