I have a summery strapless sundress that is at least knee length. Will this be allowed at Palo? I know they restrict beach wear and this is definitely nicer.
Also the shoes need to be NOT flip flops - even dressy ones. Fully strapped around the ankle sandals should be ok. But nothing resembling a flip flop. They ARE strict on that.
Do you have a shawl or shrug you could pair with it? I've worn sleeveless dresses to Palo brunch but always with a sweater because I get cold in there.
honestly between the t shirts and casual wear I recently witnessed at brunch last week, I would hope they'd encourage and welcome your dress.... my goodness I was surprised at some of the casual attire at brunch... I think they allowing jeans was a bad move.... the dinner was fine, everyone really looked nice
agree with PP, it was CHILLY in Palo so bring a wrap just in case
Okay, so I am very, very limited on shoes that I can wear because of foot problems. Flip flops are the only kind of shoe I wear. I can wear crocs, but they are less dressy than my flip flops. So what should I wear.

It really depends on who is at the podium. I have seen people told they needed to change flip-flop-style sandals that were much dressier than that. Better to be prepared than either have to go back and change or get charged for a meal you don't get to eat.
I wore flip-flop style sandals to Palo dinner and brunch one month ago on the Fantasy. They were shiny faux leather (I think one pair was rose gold and one was silver and white?) and not rubber, but they did not have an ankle strap. No one said a word. My opinion is that you will be fine.
Shorts, on the other hand -- a number of years ago they made my poor father go back to the room to change out of his khaki shorts for brunch - a rule is a rule but the poor guy had Parkinson's. But yeah - they were strict on that one.
