Stranger Things Season 4

By some stroke of luck, my parents wanted the kids for the weekend!!!! The moment my dad's car is out of the driveway, I started binging Episodes 2-7. I watched episode 1 last night. I couldn't wait. HOLY COW it is so good! I am so happy with this season. No spoilers, but worth the wait. Can't wait for July!

Glad this is a no-spoilers thread, as I've only seen episode 1 so far!

I watch with my DS, and we were both so excited that it came back, but coordinating our opposite schedules means we get through the episodes pretty slowly.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the season!

I just found out yesterday the season dropped. It's been so long since we watched that we re-watched the last episode of season 3 last night. I forgot a lot of what had happened. The kids are so grown up now!

I am really glad to hear it's still good. I've had some trouble getting into wanting to watch it becasut it's been so long. I feels weird that it's been 10 years and the kids are all 30. Yeah, that's an esaggeration, but it's had me worried. I keep hearing nothing but good things, so I am wanting to give it a look. I may need to rewatch the previous seasons since it's been forever.

My husband and I watched the first 2 episodes of season 4 last night. It's different than the other seasons but still enjoying it.

We finished episodes 1-4 last night and are really enjoying it! I think the new villain is a little goofy and not super scary (the lead up to him is but he himself I think looks like a Power Rangers villain ). Excited to watch more!

We watched the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi with our daughters last night, and after they went to bed DH and I was planning on only watching the first episode of season 4, but neither one of us could let it go and binged all 7 episodes. I'm glad we only have to wait a month for the next episodes! Our daughters want to start watching it this evening, so DH and I will be seeing it for a second time!

The villain looks like a cross between a Lord Of Rings type or Game of Thrones type bad guy. I keep thinking Ive seen him before on another show..

Im enjoying the show so far. I went back to look at Season 1 Episode 1... boy the kids were so young and small when they started this show.

Really loving this so far, so pleased it’s not another Season 2. Great to see this cast again. The kids are practically adults now. Before you know it, Millie Vanilly Bibbidy-bobbidy will be doing ads for reverse mortgages.

Great to see the Dustin-Steve dynamic back in action, they’re such an unlikely duo and probably the most hilarious.,

Hahaha…I can kind of see that. I saw some detailed FX shots of his makeup, it looks much more gruesome without the red-tinted lighting.

As mentioned in the Obi thread, I loved that one particular scene with the use of that one particular song from that one particular artist.

NOT the same song, but I’m a big Wuthering Heights fan, myself.

Eddie is awesome. The clueless 80s parents were great too. Reminds me of the parents in my neighborhood growing up.
