ETA- Just looked it up and first part will be 4 episodes. Second part will be 3 episodes. Final part will be one episode.

Its been that long that I'd forgotten this was even coming out. Bit ridiculous that they're leaving a gap between releasing the final episode though.

The main characters who play Steve, Nancy and Jonathan are all in their 30’s in real life. They’re supposed to be only a couple of years older than the kids in the show.

Well, I was making a joke because it's been so long. I really can't wait for Dustin and Mike to be discussing their 401K's while fighting off the monsters!

Yeah, I make cracks about it too since it's taking sooo long, but really it has been a very good show. I had my doubts about last season, but they sold it. I am looking forward to the finale, regardless of if they struck while the iron was hot or not.

I will be rewatching it again as well (gotta refresh the mind).

speaking of my beloved Eddie Munson....just learned the talented actor who played him has been cast as George Harrison in the upcoming 4 part Beatles movie just have to wait till 2028 for that guess i'll just have to hang on to my glow in the dark Eddie Munson loungefly bag

With the ages of the actors, it would’ve made more sense to do a 3-5 year jump ahead instead of a 1 year jump ahead.

It's definitely one of my favorites. Just re-watched some of it recently because my daughter is old enough to watch it now and is a big fan, so we can watch the 5th season together. Looking at the release dates which are around the holidays, might take a good while to actually get through them.
