Hi everyone! We have made the decision to visit US on the Sat before our cruise in Oct. It will be my DH and DSS first visit to US and the first visit that my DD will be able to remember. The last time I went, I missed out on a lot of rides because I have a shunt in my head and I was scared to ride because I rode Dueling Dragons and the head restraint caused my shunt to bang around a lot and gave me a miserable headache and I felt really bad for most of the remainder of the day.

This year I won't be the only driver, so I can 1 bring pain medication and let my son drive (DH doesn't drive) if necessary and I have the DIS to do research with. I love roller coasters and would love to know what roller coasters have the over the head restraints and jerk around like dueling dragons do?

Also, DD will be 9 when we go and DSS will be 13 and Autistic. Neither do scary rides or big coasters. Does US still do the baby swap? When I took my kids last time my son and I took turns riding and staying with my DD who was too small for several of the rides. All of us bigger people would like to ride most of the rides.

Thanks for the help! I just don't want to have our day blown by my health getting in the way!

Hulk also has over the shoulder restraints but there are other coasters that will bump you around. Rip Ride Rockit can be very shaky depending on what car you get. You may get a nice smooth ride but you may also get a very shaky one. Mummy has a few sharp turns that can be jolting but isn't too bad.

There is baby swap.

Thank you! I should have clarified the jerking doesn't bother me as long as there is nothing there for me to bang the side of my head on. The shunt is on the side of my head and hitting it repeatedly like I did on Dueling Dragons caused me major problems. As long as there is free movement I am fine. :)

The Mummy has a lap bar and it is a coaster so you jostle a lot but you can avoid side head impacts. Forbidden Journey has a pull down restraint and you are snugly in the seat but there is no sideways jostling, just rotating up and back from horizontal. Spiderman is a lap bar bench seat with a lot of jostling but side impacts can be avoided by sitting in center 2 seats. Same thing with Simpsons, a lot of rocking in place but center seats are best. Hippogriff is small coaster that has low seat walls.
