Strange question about tickets and Fastpass

So my daughter's dance team will be attending Dance worlds at Disney late April. We have to book through a third party and will include room and park hopper tickets. It's great we are getting a discount, but it stinks that we won't have the tickets prior to arriving in disney and picking them up! So no fast passes to pre-boom.

Well it got me thinking that we still have some old non-expiring tickets from our first trip in 2005 and they still have 3 days on them. If I link this to my account I can use them to book Fast passes.

Here is the strange question - I have to purchase park hoppers through Dance which are only good from late April through early May. Could I remove my non-expiring tickets prior to entering the parks and use the dance tickets? Or when I remove the tickets do I lose the fast passes as well?

If only the organization would mail the tickets to our home or the gym this would not be a problem.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Worst case we won't have Fast Pass selections until the day of arrival and will have to take what is left.

Attempt to link the 2005 tickets to your MDE. If they don't link up, you can call Ticketing to ask for their assistance.

Book your FPs and then when you get the dance tickets, link them to the same people.

Before you enter Park#1, go to Guest Relations and have them prioritize your tickets so that the Dance hoppers get used during this trip.

Thanks so much for the quick answer!

Yes, you can ask guest relations to prioritize your tickets before entering the park, so that you use the dance tickets for admission.

And/or you may be able to setup a fake person on MDE as your "ticket saver" person and after your dance tickets are linked, move the NE tickets to the fake person.

FP+ are not tied to specific tickets, otherwise ticket upgrades would always be a nightmare.

The NE tickets are already partially used.
Once a ticket has been used, it can't be moved (transferred) to any other guest in MDE (real or not.)
