Strange question about charging for a no show

We leave Fri for our trip and I decided to reconfirm our ADRS this afternoon. As I was doing that I realized I booked the Norway princess meal for TODAY instead of NEXT Wednesday!!!! When I called to see if I could get the correct date - they were totally booked for all meals that day :( - I asked about the no show charge. I was transfered to Guest Services who said they don't actually charge the no show fee that often but to call back if it did happen and they would transfer me to the restaurant to discuss it with then. I know DH will NOT be happy if I am charged for this fee! Has anyone had something like this happen before? How long does it take for the fee to show up?
 
A few years ago we woke up the morning of our breakfast and DD wasn't feeling well. I called to cancel and about a week later was charged a cancellation fee. I called about it since DD was ill and they didn't waive it at all...sorry I didn't have better news.
