That is weird looking. Check this one out. It's called a coelacanth and is over 400 million years old. It was believed to be have been extinct until one was caught off the coast of South Africa in the 1930's....really interesting
I found a video link to the filler shark footage, but i guess the server is getting slammed. It keeps cutting off at the same moment.....when the shark bumps the camera! I keep wondering if he ate it.
I can see why it died. Its habitat is in very deep waters. There are all kinds of unidentified, elusive and rare critters down there.
Yeah... its a good reminder that there are all kind of cool creepy things swimming around in the deep. IT's amazing to think that this shark is pretty much the same as it was hundreds of millions of years ago. Too bad she died, but as shallow as she was found I guess it was inevitable.
