Strange Grand Villa Layout

Does anybody else think that the layout of the single story grand villas at Jambo House & Aulani are strange? It seams odd that for one of the two additional bedrooms you must walk into a common hallway to get to the bathroom. I think the design they have for the single story grand villas at the Boardwalk is much better.

I'll never get to stay in a grand villa (I do not have enough points or know enough people) but I just think it is strange.

If you feel the layout doesn't suit your needs, then just be glad that you'll never need to stay there.

The Jambo GVs even have a pool table which makes them very unique. Many would be happy to get to enjoy those accommodations. We've enjoyed all of our stays in GVs and look forward to future GV stays.

I think that make sense, if you have people sleeping on the pull out sofa they can get to a bathroom.
In most of the dedicated 2BR units at OKW, anyone sleeping on the sofa in the living room has to enter the Master or second BR to get to the bathroom. That's a bigger problem in my opinion.

I agree, and I so wish the OKW 2 bedroom villas would have had that extra hall bathroom that the OKW GVs have.

I was told that the 2BR units in bldgs 62 and 63 have a door thru the laundry room into the master bathroom.

There is access to the master bathroom thru the laundry room in all OKW buildings #30 and higher, but it still is sharing the master bathroom used by those in the bedroom. The GVs have a 4th bathroom near the entrance which may be used by guests staying in the living room. AKV and BLT have the additional bathroom in most 1 and 2BR villas.
