Strange goings-ons at Epcot....

I guess they're doing some testing....I'm sitting here in relative silence, and now all of a sudden I'm hearing the "We Go On" sequence from Illuminations. I looked out the window and I saw basically all the lighting, spotlights, and twinkling lights around the country buildings from the show, everything except the fireworks. When that finished, they began a sequence I never heard before...some announcements, then some music...and I'm making it out to be New Year's Eve, LOL!! I hear a woman's voice doing the countdown...5...4...3...2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR...followed by Auld Lang Syne(sp?) This is so funny

Donna...last year on December 30 we were returning to OKW after a day in the parks and I heard the music and then all of a sudden we starting seeing fireworks. And it was coming from Epcot. I'm like, did they have a second Illumi that night but it was pretty late. So we went out on our balcony and could hear the music perfectly and see the fireworks. They just kept going and going and going and then all of a sudden we figured it out that they were probably testing the timing for the next night. It was so cool!!!!
