Every so often the DVC log in page kicks me out. It seems like every couple of months it wants me to register with a "one time activation code" like I have never logged in before.

That's not the weird part. The page usually identifies me as "the Baker family" but today it said.......

Welcome SaratogaShan!

Now tell me....how did DVC know that I am "SaratogaShan"? I use this as my screen name for Disboards and one other disney related message board.

My mouth just fell open when I saw that!! I guess Mickey does read the boards! :scared1:

I assume you mean dvcmember.com - dvc.com is not related.

The name after "Welcome" is just regurgitating your username as far as I can see. Did you happen to use your DISboards username by mistake?

I have two different "go.com" logins that came up over the years from them merging systems. If I use the wrong one, I get the exact message you got. Perhaps you used a different username than the one you originally registered under?

Yes, I did mean DVCmember.com.

The Welcome SaratogaShan message popped up first thing on the page asking me to log in to the DVC member site for the first time. I never logged in because it was asking for an "activation code" that I don't have!

I still don't understand how any of the disney sites would know my disboard user name. I have only ever used my home email address as a user ID for the disney owned sites.

There are many Disney owned sites, and one could have been entered incorrectly.

In my case, I'm not actually logged into any disney/go.com sites under this other username, but out of habit I type it sometimes (the two usernames are related).

I'd probably delete all your go.com cookies from your browser, exit and restart.
