Strange CRO comment

I'm still making my daily call to CRO to book the end of Dec. 08. I always try to be friendly and chit chat with the CM. This will usually result in the CM attempting to work harder at finding something available.

Anyhooo.....this morning the CM said......a couple yrs ago Disney allowed long term guests the ability to book reservations up to 5 YEARS IN ADVANCE! Since we are still within that 5 yr window fewer sites are available to the average person during the busy holiday seasons.

I cant imagine Disney ever doing that. I know alot of you have been camping at FW for years. Anyone heard of it ? I'm thinking she was just inventing Disney Tales.

Never heard of it, but doesn't mean it isn't true. Although CRO has been known, way more than a few times, to make up their own reservation stories

Yep! It's true!! I know many people who used to do this and are really put out because they can't do it anymore.

The CRO stopped this practice because people would book sites from October to April each fall/winter and then when they finalized their plans, would drop weeks. It made it impossible for anyone else to get ressies until the last minute.

It think the way they handle it now (including the day by day pricing) is much fairer.
