Hello,

I thought i read not to long ago that there is a place that a princess reads kids a story?? Is this true and if so where can i find it??

Yes, we did this in Feb. 2004. The princess is Belle. The location is Fairy Tale Garden. Once you go through the castle is down the first path on the right. She has some kids dress up as characters to help. It is so cute! My DD (5 at the time) got to play Chip. It was a very "Disney" moment for me and I had tears in my eyes the whole time. I hope they are still doing it. Maybe someone that has been recently can let us know.

Is this at a certain time each day?
Is it who ever gets there first type of thing??

Sounds soooooo sweet my daughter loves Belle!!!

She says she is beautiful! :)

Storytime With Belle is still going on. It is performed about 5 times a day, usually around 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 4:00, and 5:00. It is very cute, and the children do very well with the story, although once "Chip" ran off Stage Right to Mommy! :teeth: I would say do it, as it is relaxing to sit there and watch. One Warning- there is limited seating (VERY limited seating!). Make sure you get there early- about 15 minutes.

Check the time guide when you enter the park for the list of times for that day. To maximize your chances of your child being picked, I would get there about 15 minutes before show time. About 5-10 minutes before the show starts, a CM comes out to start setting up. When Belle comes out, she has the CMs help her "pick" who gets toplay the characters.

I don't know if being there first or very early guarantess a spot or not, but it can't hurt. This past July, we got there about 15 minutes before the first showtime and we were the first ones there. We did not really try to be in the show, but the CM who had been setting up picked out my DD4 (3 then) specifically to be in the show. She got to be Cogsworth! :)

Just FYI, it can get a little ugly. Some parents really try to push their kids forward to get them up on stage. If you just want to watch, maybe sit towards the back as a lot of the kids try to crowd up front.

Just to warn you on busy days this is basically a meet and greet!

We went just b4 thanksgiving having heard wonderful things with the video camera ready only to have Belle tell the story in 5 minutes flat with little interaction from the kids let alone dressing up!

Don't get me wrong DD was thrilled to hear the story and have her photo taken with Belle it was just DH and I who were disappointed having heard how special it was!

i went to this way back in 1999 when i was about 5 (i'm almost 12 now). i enjoyed it, sinced i loved belle. i believe at the end of the show you can get your picture taken with belle. i saw a home movie of the show from 1999 and it's really cute. but i didn't participate in the show, since i'm very shy.
