I read a post once about storytelling in one of the parks. I foolishly did not make note of it and now I am wondering if anyone is familiar with this and could tell me about it. I thought it was in the MK but it could have been EPCOT.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!:D

Its called Fairy Tale Garden. Its tucked beside Cindrella's Castle. Belle from Beauty and the Beast tells stories through out the day.

I know that when we were in WDW a few weeks ago, they still had the Belle's Storytelling in the Magic Kingdom several times each day. It was listed in the showtimes guide we got when we entered the park, and I believe it took place somewhere in the area of the Castle courtyard. There may be (and probably is) additional story telling elsewhere in the world, but I hope this helps until someone else tells you where to find them!! :D

At Epcot there is a story telling experience that comes as a perk with some plans we are trying it this year and don't know much about it.

There are regularly scheduled storytime with Belle sessions in the Magic Kingdom. It is in a garden near the castle. My 2 DDs loved this. After a story with participants from the audience there is an autograph/photo session with Belle. Get there a few minutes early and sit up front for the kids to have a good chance on being selected.:D

Wow Vic ... thanks so much for the speedy reply! That is exactly what I was looking for!:D

We must have been typing at the same time.

KelliR, my daughter really enjoyed this. Belle tells a story and then spends some really nice one on one time with the kids. My daughter talked about the whole day.

Thanks everyone! I will make definite plans to attend.:D

Minnimama ... I think that is the one at EPCOT I saw recently on a post. Let us know when you do it or hear more about it.:p

Here's the information on the one in Epcot:

Story Magic in Epcot (Storytelling Experience that is a choice feature with Dream Maker)

Where - Innoventions West in Epcot
When - Tuesday - Saturday
Times: 10:00, 11:15, 12:30, 2:30, and 3:45

What: Story with appearance of featured character, stories and characters are not scheduled so there is no way to choose a specific story

This is only available to guests who booked a Dream Maker package. You can call up to 45 days prior to set up a seating or the guests can go to guest services and see what is available when they arrive. The phone number is the same as the PS number, 407-WDW-DINE.

As I understand it, a CM comes out and tells a Disney story (approx 20-25 mins) after which, a character from that story comes out to do a meet & greet. Sounds like a great opportunity for the kids to get to meet a character without too long of a line.
