Storytelling Experience is no more

I called to book the storytelling experience in Epcot for my DD and DN's. I was told it is discontinued as of 12/29/03, any thoughts on why the cancelled it? The CM really didn't even know it existed in the first place. Anyone hear rumblings of a replacement program?

Kinda odd that it would just end. Even more odd the fact that the CM didnt know what was going on.

ceejay, did you do this with CR or with Grand Gatherings? The Grand Gatherings is totally seperate. This use to be a Silver or Gold (?) option or a buy your way in.

To follow up - I just called to check on this. The CM I spoke to actually put me on hold and checked and said that this is not true that they were still booking it. She said she hadn't heard this rumor so that is why she actually double checked. I was worried as I just spent $500 on this event. I actually spoke to CM that had attended a preview and he said it was great. He had also done the fireworks cruise.

What is included in the package? Buffet or sit down? What kind of food? Desserts? Where? Lots of questions not many answers on Disney site
