I'm thinking about eating at Storytellers for dinner but I can't find much information, good or bad. I see the menu, it looks good but what do you think?
What do you recommend from the menu? And it looks like there is a buffet as well as I can order off the menu, is this correct? What kind of food is in the buffet?

We went there for my wife's birthday and it was really, really great. I had the filet and she had one of their pizzas. Our server was really good too. I really liked the atmosphere, and it seemed nice and relaxing in there, but not too laid back.

My only complaint was that I ordered a brithday bucket as a surprise and it never came...

Storyteller's is one of my favorite DLR restaurants. Very very good.

We too have eaten there. We have been for both lunch and dinner. Both meals were excellent. The first time we went for lunch. The day before we had eaten lunch at Blue Bayou. The meal at Storytellers Cafe was by far superior to Blue Bayou. We also love the way the restaurant smells. There is a huge fireplace that was lit and made the restaurant feel and smell very cozy. Both times we ordered off of the menu so I can't help you with the buffet items, but everything we ate was great!

I really liked Storyteller's Cafe...my husband didn't - he missed Goofy's with their huge dessert selection. But the food quality was really good, character interaction was great - but more mellow and subdued...just a nice atmosphere and great place to go.

We were staying at the Grand Californian and had dinner there. It was yummy! We ordered off the menu. The service was quick and wonderful. If kids order the pizza, they get to make their own! Lots of fun.

We've eaten lunch there twice and loved it both times. It's a quiet place to eat the food is wonderful. I LOVE the corn chowder there. We've never been for dinner, so I don't anything about the buffet.

We usually go for breakfast, but we did go for dinner on Christmas day last year. We did the special xmas dinner buffet. It was great! :)

Me and DH, and two of our friends at there last week for the first time. We went for dinner. We were givin the option to order something off the menu or choose the all you can eat buffet. We all choose the buffet. All four of us enjoyed our meal.

Were there characters during your dinner? I hope not, we're not big on interacting with characters while we eat.

The only character meal there is breakfast.

No one has told you to check for the menus: here is the link showing the Disney hotel restaurant menus (not always updated immediately, but it's a good guideline).

We like lunch there. Very quiet that time of day, no characters. And like the other PP's said, the Charred Nebraska corn chowder is fabulous! We really liked the iced tea too - I'm pretty sure it's freshly brewed, not a mix. The restaurant itself is really beautiful. It would also be a very nice place for dinner but we like the cheaper prices at lunch.

we went after the Half Marathon last year for dinner and half our party did the buffet and were happy about their choice and the other half did the order off the menu and seemed to like their dinner too. we was a large group of 9 people.

I love eating at Storyteller's Cafe and I always get the buffet! One of my favorite dishes is the pasta and whenever I go, it's always different. The chicken is also made differently each time as well. The wonderful corn chowder is always there and there's always a bunch of yummy desserts.
