I'll be visiting in the summer. A couple of quick questions:

- Is Storybookland & Casey Junior still NOT available during MM.

- During the day.....when is the best time to ride Storybookland for the shortest line?

- If waiting at the turnstile for 30 min (in the early AM).....& someone in my party needs to use the restroom (for a minute).....is there one nearby?

Thanks. :thumbsup2

Yes, SBLCB and CJRR are still not offered during MM. And in SBLCB's case, they may not open until one hour after normal park opening anyways.

They close SBLCB during parades and the best time to ride during the day is right after the parade passes Fantasyland between Matterhorn and SBLCB. You can hop in the line with little wait.

On restrooms, sure. Facing DL the restrooms are on the left. Facing DCA, same thing. On the left.

In fact we always try and make sure to hit the rest rooms befoe they open the gates for this very reason.

Storybook is one of the slowest lines in DL in my opinion. We try to do it as soon as it opens. I love this ride but the wait can be horrible later in the day.

On my last trip we spent the last night of our last day in Fantasyland -- a Saturday -- and you could walk-on to both of the rides without any wait at all. This was after the fireworks of course and about an hour until the park closed. Both of these rides at night are very special and it is what I remember most about our last trip.

During the afternoon or night parade is the time we love to ride it. This cuts down the line a bit and the ride is best in the dark when all the little lights come on.

Hound when are you planning on going? We will be there the last week of June into the first few days of July.

Also my wife and kids rode the storybook canal at night and thought it was amazing. This is something I plan on doing this go round.

Are you guys going commando again? :)

Have a great trip!

One year we tried to do Storybook boats during MM, and the wait was long...the line was moving very slow. It was so early, that not all the boats were up and running. Not sure if this is always the case, but I remember thinking we should have done some of the other rides during MM.....and waited until more of the Storybook boats were going.

I have never heard of SBLCB being open for MM. In fact, it seems to often (always?) open an hour after regular park opening. Just checking, but are you sure it wasn't after MM this happened to you? :)

It was open just after MM, so when the park opened to regular guests around 9 am in Feb this year.

People were lining up before they opened the queue (maybe 5 mins).

I have never been on it at night so a must for me when I am there in less than two weeks. :cool1:
