Storybook Princess Breakfast @ Akershus?

Another vote for AMAZING - we LOVED it!! Our DS really enjoyed it and the princess interaction was great with him! We thought the food was good, the atmosphere was awesome - just all around wonderful. I loved the "cold" bar - that was nice.

Do they have salmon on the breakfast cold buffet?

Yes, they do!! It's GOOD too!!

Thanks for the salmon confirmation. It was so good on the lunch bar, and I was worried they wouldn't have it at breakfast! We have an 0805 ADR this May. Do u think we will be done in time for rope drop?

Loved this thread!!! Ammped for Breakfast with with Princess!!! More excited then my DD... LOL!!! Last time I ate here was in 2006 and we had Ariel as our Greeter! I almost past out when I saw her there... I the pics Im soaked for a summer storm... MakeUp a mess but me there with a BIG SMILE on my face!!!

I would soo love to have Ariel as our greeter again... Ummm this visit will be with my DD3 and my new SIL!!! When I asked her to join us she was as excited as me so it should be awesome!

How do I get into World Showcase? I thought this part of the park opens at 11 so you figure i'll want to be atleast in Epcot by 9:30am... We actually have a ADR for 10:30 But im hoping something opens earlier!

You sound like my DD6, she is in LOVE with Aerial and you should of seen her face as Aerial came walking around the corner just before she came to our table. I have the best picture of her with a huge mouth opened and a smile I have never seen from her before. This was the third time that we have eaten there and the other two times we had Mulan, SB, SN, and Jasmine at our table. However, this past December we had SB, SN, Cinderella (another surprise for us) and Aeriel. My DD told Aerial how much she loved her and Aerial was so tickled pink because of it, they had a wonderful conversation about her movies and what she liked about it. My DD8, was none too thrilled because her favorite princess is Jasmine (one of the reasons she loves Akershus is because she has been there the past couple of times) and she was not there that day. Luckily, Jasmine was at CRT the last day of our trip, so she was happy again We are returning there in March for breakfast and I am excited to see who will be there.

We went for breakfast and worried because DS is soooo picky. They made him pancakes without a problem but he actually did find food on the buffet that he liked. We went back for yogurt twice. The menu boards don't show the large selection they have. Interaction was great as we were seated by the door they come out of.

Have eaten there for breakfast, lunch & dinner, breakfast by far the best meal to book. Selection is hot,tasty and fresh, more so than other mealtimes. Great place to see princesses, nice to walk around lands when Epcot is empty and a free princess picture with the kids. Added bonus is picture taken when the kids are nice and fresh, not looking like street urchins who have been baked in the Florida sun.

This was our first time eating at Akershus. Loved, loved, loved it! By far one of the best breakfasts and the princesses were wonderful. It was my DD's birthday and she told the waitress that her bday wish was to blow out her birthday candle with Ariel. Her cupcake was brought out and Ariel right behind. She was in heaven to have Ariel right there to help blow out her bday candle & sing to her. Wishes do come true-esp. for my 4 year old!
How am I ever gonna top this one?
ps. I could've eaten my weight in those potaoes, unfortunately hubby stopped me
