StoryBook land

I was watching the fab DVD Lizbro sent me and in the part of the film where they did Storybook Land I noticed the train going by in the background. Does this happen even if the Storybook Land is closed? I never seem to get there when it's open and it is one I would like to see. Does the train go through/past/round this ride?

Yes, the train goes round (and over?) the Storybook Ride. The last few years these rides have been closed in the colder months, but looking at the rehab schedule, both of them should still be open while you're there this year.

The boats through storybook land (Les Pays des Contes des Fees) was open last week, but the train closed and we reeeeeeeeeeally wanted to go on it, kiddie train or not! Boats closed earlier than 8 pm but it was a really sweet ride, we went twice

So it's the Casey Jnr Ride I saw in the background then, not the main 'puffa' train?

it would be great if the StoryBook Ride was open during my visit - normally it shuts in the winter I gather so I hadn't expected it to be open

Im assuming they have left it open this year during the winter because Peter Pan Flight is closed for a few weeks (i think thats correct?)

I think i have a video clip link on these forums somewhere showing the whole casey jnr ride and looking down on the storybook ride as we went past...somewhere.....

we were there last weekend and casey junior was closed on thursday and friday but Le Pays de contes de fees was open. Casey Jr opened both saturday and sunday and our kids loved it

Both the main park railroad and Casey Jr run near Le Pays des Contes de Fées, but it's probably more likely to be Casey Jr that you saw! Did it look like a circus train?

I love both rides!

It did look like a circus train now you come to mention it. I'd forgotten that Casey Jnr was in the vicinity. I'm really hoping that the Storybook Ride is open on one of the days I'm there. I'm in the parks 10/11-11/11/06

We went on both last wednesday we queued for 3/4 hour for the kiddies train (4 adults ) it was good fun.

I'm really hoping The Storybook ride is open - it's got some Beauty and the Beast stuffage in and I'm a big fan of that one!
