Stormalong Gazebo

We would like to have a very casual breakfast the day after the wedding. Stormalong Gazebo was offered as a good location. Has anyone been there? What I'm trying to accomplish is an open house type atmosphere where people can come and go, swim, lay in the sun, visit...
I'm not sure Stormalong Gazebo allows for come and go activity. Please advise.

i know this was offered as a prereception venue to us, its a round white gazebo like building in the middle of stormalong bay (the yc & bc swimming area) i dont know much else than that, we choose marthas vineyard for our prereception venue. although i would like to see if this could be our rain backup.

i do know you can also host a farewell brunch at the typhoon lagoon water park which has a casual come & swim atmosphere. someone else on this board is doing that but i cant remember who.

ohh samantha i was going through our site visit pictures this past weekend & noticed i do have a picture of stormalong bay with the gazebo building if youre still considering it for your prereception venue, just pm me your email & ill send the pics on.

That is a great idea! i wonder if you could do this @ the summer house @ GF as well.....I know disney has a not a guest then you can not swim policy but if you talk to your em I wonder.......

The gazebo is gorgeous. It was one of the locations we looked at for our pre-reception, but we decided against being outside at the end of august. One thing to keep in mind is that one of your "views" is the piratey ship that makes the slide for the pool. I thought it was neat cause I wanted a beach theme, but if you are going for something elegant, maybe not?
