Stormalong Bay

I was just wondering what part of Stormalong Bay is currently closed. Does anyone know what section will be closed the week of Feb. 16 - 23? Thanks.

Ah...I see another annual President's week visitor. We'll also be at the Beach Club that week. Here's hoping for good weather.

I've got my fingers crossed on the weather; that it's not too snowy here so we can leave easily and in the 80's and sunny in WDW!

Yep! Love the temperature differential in Feb!! ..and to find some sunshine we tend to get cloud cover that comes in late Nov and doesn't leave until end of Feb(we refer to this as the permacloud). We tried April break last year and it didn't do it for us. Things were starting to come alive at home and it really wasn't much warmer in FL. When we tried Thanksgiving we ended up wishing we had another trip in Feb.

I just called Beach Club to ask what section of SAB would be closed Pres. Week. They said there wasn't a set schedule so they couldn't say (but they did confirm at only one section at a time would be closed). It never occured to me to ask what section is closed now. Ugh! I'll call back tomorrow.

We will be there begining March 8th for a week. It would be great if we could keep posted what section of SAB is down as people return on this thread.

It appears the slide section is currently closed.

The slide section and BC side pool closed Jan. 5th, the lazy river and the yahct club side was open. The hot tubs closed. I heard the pool will be open before March.
