Anyone have the details on this? My sister got a letter but she didn't have it with her when I talked to her today. Say it isn't so!!!!! This will be my third time staying at the BC and I have yet to use the pool. The first year we were there for only 2 nights and it was closed - they were sandblasting it and cleaning it and the second time was in the beginning of December and it poured the whole trip. I was so looking forward to it.

I don't have all the details, bu the rehab will be done in stages, so only parts of the pool will be closed at any give time. I know when I'm there at the end of Jan, the slide will be closed . a search here might get you a more detailed schedule.

I am bummed. Taking 5 kids for the first time and thought this would be a great way for them to enjoy a non-park day. Now I wish we would be staying elsewhere.

I'm guessing they will allow you to swim in the Boardwalk pool. Yes it is a bummer, that is why we are staying at the Boardwalk. However we have stayed a different resort for each and every trip and that is always the kids "favorite", when we stayed at Contemp. they complained when we booked BC, then they loved BC and complained when we booked Dolphin, then complained when we booked Boardwalk and not BC or Dolphin. So I'm sure they will love it, I'm looking forward to trying somewhere new again.

I got a letter yesterday from the YC about the pool closing. Basically, they said that after November 1st certain sections of the pool will be closed for refurbishment. It did say that the main pool will not be impacted. Since I've never stayed there, I'm not sure what parts of SAB are included in the main pool. The quiet pools are still open too.
