It was very very windy here in Manchester all night. It's still windy now, and we have had lots of rain this morning.

We have escaped without any damage didn't hear anything until 6 this morning when the cat jumped on me and woke me up. Hope every one else has escaped any damage

Well I slept through it. There are many damaged fences including mine. No tiles lost though. It was pretty windy when I got up, but its starting to clear now.

Hope everyone didnt have any damage to thier properties.

Wind still very high here,a few trees down,at the moment we have just lost fences and a garden swing ,i just hope it calms down,but have been told by nieghbour that it could get worse tonight, stay safe every one

we've also been told to expect the worst tonight, the radio described it as winds up to 60mph and squall showers, i shall be locked up and cosy inside under a blanket no doubt hope you are all ok.

The wind has died down a bit here for the time being but it is apparently going to pick up again.

It was really bad this morning when I went into work. I nearly got blown over in the petrol station.


Loads of rubbish bags were blown about last night as it was the day for the rubbish collection today, I don't know why people couldn't put them out this morning as they are never early
