Hey Holden

We will be there with you! I am leaving early on 9/10 (hopefully)!! in NY we don't get a lot of Florida weather ifo until it gets really bad! Keeping my fingers crossed. I just want to get there!!

Us too, 7:40am out of Syracuse. Where are you flying out of? Looks like we'll be flying through at least a Tropical Depression, but hopefully it will be far enough north by Saturday as to not be a problem. The weather report isn't great so far, but we're holding onto hope that it will get better later in the week.
See you there :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I am flying out tomorrow 7am with DD 14 months and am hoping we can get out before the storm. Last year we were the last flight out of albany before they stopped flying to FL because of a hurricane. Thanks for starting this post. Info has been hard to come by.

On weather.com, there is a place to click for the Tropical Update...which may have more info than the local Orlando forecast, if that helps.

And to play both sides...I agree that there are some questions asked about weather that I don't get...along the lines of "what will the weather be at Epcot on April 28, 2007?" (ok, I'm exaggerating, but you know what I mean ;) )...and for those, I think...we're not meteorologists...have they even looked at a weather page? :confused3

Ah, well...
Best to those that will get some rain...I'll be there in Dec...wonder what the weather will be? :goodvibes just kidding...I'll look the day before I go!

Please know I am not being rude.If they bother you and you dont want to read them, then why would you not just skip over them.I know people are worried about the storms so there are going to be lots of questions asked.

:rotfl: I was thinking the same thing! i'm not going soon but i like to know what is going on there and since it doesn't really get to my area my weather barely mentions them

www.weather.com you can also enter in Orlando as one of your cities and it will keep you posted

We are headed down tomorrow, last year at the end of September we had to drive to Tampa and was able to get in the last flight to Boston before they closed the airport. I hope this storm starts moving north. The National Hurriacne Center expects it to make land fall around the Jacksonville area but the problem is it has a week upper level flow causing very slow movement.

Which means alot of rain being pushed into eastern and central florida.
