Looks like this STORM "CHARLEY" is going to hit South Fl. and head up to central Fl,,right now they are not to sure EXACTLY where it will go,,but it looks like it is going to hit Fl. at some point this weekend,,so anyone travling to FL. please be careful,,and I hope it doesn't ruin any plans,,,, the news here says it will know BETTER at the 11 PM news,,,,,right now it is not a HURRICANE, but they expect it to be later this evening.......OH I HATE THIS TIME OF YEAR!!! I went through ANDREW,,and still think about it!!! THE ONLY thing good about this storm, is the name LOL MY DS name!!!

What's the excitement level at the Weather Channel right now? Two tropical storms!

I bet Jim Cantore is heading to the Florida panhandle right now. Wonder if WDW is protected since it's off the coast and more inland?

It looks like it will bypass Orlando, but with a hurricane there's always a wide band of rain/tornado. Plus it could track west or east of projections. I had the same thought about the guys at the weather channel!

We arrive at MCO at noon on 8/13. Hopefully there won't be any huge problems. Nothing like having to worry about two storms at the beginning of your trip!! Should be interesting at least.

Right now I am more concerned about Bonnie. My daughter is headed out on Thursday to move to Ohio and her route takes right into the path of the storm if she stops at her grandfather's. Storm is heading for my FIL.
Hope Charley doesn't hit So FLa. School starts Monday and we don't need a storm.

I knew we'd have to face this sooner or later, but I was hoping for later. We are pretty used to severe weather having come from Missouri, but a hurricane lasts so long. Very creepy!
