Is there sand still in the bottom of the Storm-along-bay pool?

As far as I know. It was sandy in April and I didn't hear that they are changing it. I love it so I hope it stays!

A lifeguard there once told me that it is actually crushed coral, not sand.

Thatmakes sense it defiantely is not a fine sand, but as a home pool owner how in the heck do they keep it clean with the sand? That always makes me curious. I told my dad about it being sand bottom and he could not understand how they keep it clean either with the filter and all. I mean we have a sand filter but a whole sand pool.....

They do have sand, we were there a few weeks ago and loved it, even the lazy river which is 8 feet deep in parts, has sand.... It is very coarse sand, I kept trying to dig to see how deep it was, and I never could get the bottom.

I always see CMs in there with rakes. I guess thats what they're doing
