Storing groceries before you move into your villa

Hi all,

We will have a 2 br villa at BW in Nov. However, before we move in, we will spend 1 night in a studio. If we get there early that day, and if we do our shopping, will bell services hold our stuff over night until we get into the bigger villa?

I am especially worried if we have too much stuff to fit in the studio's fridge or freezer.

They will hold your "extra" stuff at bell services, but they cannot keep cold things cold. No fridge or freezer "services". I've read of some DVC's and DISers getting soft-sided coolers (or bringing their own big coolers if they've driven) to keep their stuff cold until they can check into their villa. HTH!

Thanks. But I was under the impression that if you get a grocery delivery while you are out, bell services will store it in a refrigerated area until you return. I had also read that they will keep frozen stuff in the freezer until you return. Am I mistaken?

I was unsure as to whether they could hold the stuff over night.

Vero and OKW and BW have frig and freezer service. I was under the impression that all DVC resorts do.
One year we check into VB and they left a freezer item out, it was ruined when we got it, no problem they told us to go to gift shop and replace the item or buy a new one and they would credit us the price.

We have never had a problem in 8 years.

that's not the case.
Bell services at BW do have refrigerated storage so long as you specifically identify what it is you need kept cold they can (and have many times for us) put into 'cold storage' .

BW has a fridge for storage. I know, I've seen it. The bell staff let me back there last year to find my luggage so I could find my shorts, rather than bringing all my luggage back out. They have a big walk-in fridge.
