I've heard a lot about pin bags on here....anybody use these and how do they work? What are the pros/cons? What other suggestions do you have for storing/displaying Disney pins? Thanks a lot!!popcorn::

I got a BIG bulletin board for me (smaller ones for the kids), covered them in tink and buzz fabric, decorated them up some.. and voila, a cute place to keep them and I get to see them everyday. (I don't have TONS tho.)

Here are some pics of my board http://www.flickr.com/photos/2xlechemom/

I agree with the above post. The only thing I would add is that you can get shadow boxes from Michaels or any other craft type store. Put the cork board in there. Get a Disney fabric from a fabric wharehouse to cover the cork the you can hang it on a wall. This also keeps little hands from taking your pins down:banana:

Taking pins to the park is a different story. I always have kids in tow so compact and easy is the way for me. I like the portfolio books disney offers.
The fold over top to bottom and are a little bigger than a clipboard and they sit flat.

You can also store all your pins in a big box in the garage, but I do not recommend that one :goodvibes

My dad built me a really cool coffee table to put all of my Disney pins in, so I can look at them very easy! The table has a glass top, so you can look right down at the pins. It also has two drawers, so you can change the drawers out when you want to see the pins in the 2nd drawer too!

I have quite a few of my pins on display. I bought those cheap (under $15) large corkboards at Walmart in the school supply area and painted the cork with acrylic paints. I did most of my backgrounds in black but I did my Figment one in purple and my Patriotic ones are on a flag background with Gold outside the flag.
My grandson knows not to touch my pins so I don't have to worry about that, but I also do have them hung at my eye level which is way above his hand level.
I tried and tried but can't figure out how to cut and paste or add photos of my pins here. If someone can tell me I will show you some of my pins. Peggie

That sounds awesome. I am going to see about making something like that.

We bought two frames at Wal-Mart, they were about $2 each, but I've also seen them for sale at dollar stores, then wrapped a double layer of red craft felt around them and stapled it to the back.

I think it looks quite good, and my DW likes hers as well. Total cost works out to under $3 per display board.
