I'm looking for a round glass table top for an end table.... I have NO idea where to start looking for glass-only (without table!)

Just wondering if anyone can think of any stores that might carry these?

Thanks!

Go to any glass store and they will make it for you.

Most furniture stores that carry glass tables can special order a top only. They break them all the time and need replacements themsevles. Find one you like and ask if they will order you the the top only.

I bought a piece of glass cut to fit the top of a sideboard, the edges were rounded and smoothes, I think it was about $60 delivered from a local glass company.

YUP, any glass company as other Posters have said. We have a store in our town that is a CAR GLASS WINDSHIELD store and I went in there and the owner said yes, we make them for tables. Just get me the dimensions/size. I did and they are awesome. :thumbsup2

Look in your Yellow Pages for Glass Distributors!

Pier 1 carries them and also try a craft store like Michaels

I also suggest a glass company. When my husband got his new desk, we ordered a glass top for it. Just take in the dimensions - they even deliver!!

Go to a glass shop. That is where I custom ordered mine for one top of my bakers rack.

Thanks again, everyone. I'm going to first check out Pier 1 this morning (and maybe Michael's) and if that doesn't work out, I"ll start looking for glass companies. :thumbsup2

Defineately check out Pier 1 and Michaels and maybe Joannes Fabrics I have seen them at all 3 and they would probably be the cheapest over a glass company, but then I would call a couple of glass companies first and get some prices then check out the stores then you would have a comparison of prices.

If cost is a factor then I do believe any place that already has them pre-cut and finsihed will be cheaper than a custom glass company. If this is going to be used as a real table top then I would go with the furniture store as their tops will have the nice finsihed edges and should be cheaper than custom glass shops.

Pier One used to, but they were pretty pricey. You can usually get a glass store to cut you one cheaper.

Well, I went to Pier 1 and got one. It was $60, but worth it just to get it out of the way.

We had furniture delivered from Rooms To Go yesterday, and they accidentally delivered one square and one round end table top instead of the two squares we were supposed to get. (I had heard about delivery mistakes from them so I was kind of prepared for something to go wrong.)

I could have gotten them to come pick it up and deliver another square top, but I didn't want to have to wait several weeks, and I didn't want to have to sit around waiting again for delivery people. Plus, we decided we kind of liked the round better anyway.

Anyway, it was all kind of a hassle to fix one of their mistakes, but I'm the kind of person who would rather get it out of the way (even at $60) so I don't have to worry about it anymore.
