Stores Closing

Thought I'd post this...since there hasn't been a thread on it yet, I don't think. Anyway, I found this somewhere on the internet. There are tons more that are closing, too. Take a look and see what stores are closing.

Circuit City - 155 stores
Ann Taylor - 117 stores to be closed nationwide
Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug and Catherine's to close 150 nationwide.
Eddie Bauer to close 27 stores and more after Janurary
Cache will close all stores
Talbots closing all stores
J. Jill closing all stores
GAP closing 85 stores
Footlocker closing 140 stores after Janurary
Wicks Furniture closing all stores
Levitz closing all remaining stores
Bombay closing all remaining stores
Zales closing 82 stores and 105 after Janurary
Whitehall closing all stores
Piercing Pagoda closing all stores
Disney Store will close 98 stores and more after Janurary
Home depot closing 15 stores
Macys closing 9 stores after Janurary
Linens and Things closing all stores
Movie Gallery closing all stores
Pacific Sunware closing all stores
Pep Boys closing 33 stores
Sprint/NEXTEL closing 133 stores
JCPenny's closing number of stores after Janurary
Ethan Allen closing 12 stores
Wilson Leather closing all stores
Sharper Image closing all stores
KB Toys closing 356 stores
Lowes to close down some stores
Dillard's to close some stores

Pacific Sunwear
of California Inc., Anaheim, Calif., announced plans to close 74 underperforming demo stores that have not met the company's financial operating criteria. --- Meaning not all of them will close.

So many people are going to be loosing their jobs, and lots already are. So be careful, watch where you buy gift cards from cause that store might close and the gift card you give won't be able to be used in the near future.

This is too bad I know that I live near a Linen and Things and was just in there today and they said that, that store was doing the best out of all of there store in the nation but it was still closing.
Also I know alot of these stores are stores my mom shops at so I know she will be over joyed to hear this.

Ome, I know, I know what you mean. There's a Linen and Things where I live, too. And its also closing soon, too. There's also a Mervyn's store closing, too. Gosh, this next year will be so hard for so many people. So many stores/jobs cutting peoples pay and stuff, really scary, if you think about it. Even my Dad has had his work cut pay a month ago, many people from his work lost their jobs. Soon at my Mom's work their going to be making people leave...and their all gonna loose their job, too. Its getting scary, really, really fast. it's really sad, too. All these people will have to find some new job, and they all need to be able to have food and whatever else they need to survive, you know?

I was sad Steve and Barry's closed/is closing.
Even though I didn't shop there, their stuff was cheap and cute.
Even if the pants fit weird. lol. I just liked walking around that store.
Luckily I still have 2 disney stores to visit within a few hours radius, I hope they don't close.
