Store Receipt Surveys...

Do You Complete Online Surveys for Prizes?

  • Always! I'm always looking for a freebie.

  • Sometimes.

  • I would, if I could just remember to do it.

  • Never. Why bother? I'll never win anyway.

  • There are prizes to be won by completing a store's online survey?

  • Other. Just because.

Results are only viewable after voting.

I'm thinking this is budget because if you're a "winner" it could have a positive impact on your budget.

So, do you complete the online surveys advertised at the bottom of store receipts hoping to win something? I've noticed them on Home Depot, Lowes, Target, and a few other receipts. Today I stopped in Rite Aid for a few things and noticed that their prize is $10,000. Maybe I will remember to take that online survey!

I voted 'sometimes'...the only stores I do the surveys for are Petco and Petsmart. The only reason I do theirs is because it gives you a code for money off the next time you buy something.

At Wendy's, if you call and do the survey on the receipt, you get a code for a free burger. I've done this many times to get a free snack for DH.

I do, I'd love to win the store cards or cash but I really enjoy the Petco ones (money off your next purchase) and the Chick Fil A ones that get you a free sandwich on your next visit :)

I answered sometimes but should have answered other... I will complete surveys if it means I am guaranteed a free item or $$$ off future purchase, but not if it's for a chance to win a prize.

I dont. They almost always ask for an address, phone number, or email. To me, that's just a ploy so they can mass market to you.

I do for McAlister's cause you get money off your next meal.

My employer has on line surveys. We take what customers say very seriously. In our system if you get below an 8 you are often put on corrective action.

Well, I voted "If I could remember" but I always do the TGIFriday's b/c you get $8 towards an appetizer which in turn can be an after school treat for DS & DD:thumbsup2

Will only do them with a guarantee of something free. I'm not taking 10-15 minutes of my time for a 1 in 100,000+ chance of winning something.

Give me a free drink, burger, etc for a 3 minute survey and consider it done.

No never, it just puts your name and what ever information you give them into a marketing database. More spam, more junk mail...

This is me too. I always do the Starbucks survey's when given. I also always do the Panda Express for a free Entree.

I voted no because I don't expect that I would ever win anything. I have done them for something free though, love the 3 free white castle burgers :lovestruc

I do the ones for bath and body works...you get money off your next purchase. And it can be used in their outlet stores.

Do you have to give your real name and address? Are vouchers mailed to you? Do you have to give your real e-mail addresses? Are coupons emailed to you?

same here with tgifridays but then I sometimes have overlap with the stripes rewards...

I do for restaurants if it is money off or something free (appetizer, etc) on your next visit. Also, if I get one at Old Navy (or similar) and it is for a percentage off my next visit.

That's what I just told my DH over the weekend. Give me something and I will, but a chance at a contest? Those are all over the web if I wanted to waste my time applying.
