Stopping in resort HHI to see Shadow ???

We will be in HHI renting a house in Aug. Is it ok to stop by the resort to see Shadow and hit the Gift shop. I think I saw sombody do this last year when we were checking in. We will stop in the loby to show our members card.

Unless it's Tuesday night (fireworks), you shouldn't have a problem. Just IC the desk at the gate and let them know you're members and want to stop by the mercantile. If parking is an issue, they will let you know and you could still park at Shelter Cove and walk over the bridge. They most likely wouldn't even need to see your cards.

We have. We just needed a breath of Disney Air and knew we were going to be staying at the resort in a few months, so, we drove over and visited. Hit the gift shop and could have eaten at the grill, but, we were behaving that day. You won't be able to go to the Beach House.

We've done this a few times. My husband is from HH, and his parents are still in the area. We keep thinking that sometime we'd like to stay at the resort. It's been no problem visiting. Once a cm even gave us a room tour and a welcome packet. We've been there three different times and never run across Shadow, though.
